Tia commenced a 3 month long Pre-Hab process, attending prevention classes multiple times weekly with Physio Coaches, Coen and Martin to build her strength and give her a solid platform to build off of once she had her knee reconstruction just prior to Christmas last year.

Following Surgery, Tia immediately returned to her good habits, showing incredible discipline with her exercises and returned to completing twice weekly prevention classes. As a result of this, Tia returned to running on our anti-gravity treadmill  less than 2 months post surgery, and has recently returned to outdoor running and contact drills as she prepares for her return to football at the start of 2024.

As with any rehab journey there can be setbacks along the way, in which Tia was not excluded from. One of these was an adductor strain shortly after she returned to change of direction drills. Rather than feeling dismayed by this setback, Tia used this as an opportunity to focus on building more strength which allowed her to launch back into these drills after just a couple of weeks.

Tia’s commitment to her rehab has been amazing to watch and there’s no mystery as to why she has continued to kick goals along the way.
