No, you don’t need to have any facilities for a home visit consultation. We bring everything you will need to you.

We have long consults at PEAK to ensure we can deliver exceptional care. In return we ask that you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice if you can not make your appointment. Where a cancellation occurs with less than 24hrs notice a $50 donation to our chosen charity will be applied to your account.

Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, and Podiatry can sometimes be rebated by Medicare via an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care Plan) that is acquired from your GP for chronic conditions. Please see your GP to see if you are eligible for this. This plan allows Medicare to provide a rebate on your appointment cost.

Before your appointment:

One of the PEAK team will contact you via phone to ask you some safety screening questions before your appointment, and if necessary will also email you forms to fill out. At this time, you will also be asked to pay for this appointment.

During your appointment:

Your treating PEAK Practitioner will arrive at your house at the time of your appointment and call you when they are out the front. They will ask you to let them in to your home and will bring with them a portable treatment table and treating equipment. We recommend setting this up in your living room to provide space for your treatment.
Your appointment will begin with some questions to help our Practitioners understand your goals and complaint. During your appointment your PEAK Practitioner will provide hands on treatment and work with you to develop a customised at home exercise program to meet your goals. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing appropriate for this type of PEAK At Home Appointment.

After your appointment:

Our PEAK Practitioner will be able to book another appointment for you if necessary, pack up their belongings and head to their next appointment or back to the clinic. You should expect an email within 24 hours that contains your online interactive exercise program with links to our exercise app to track your progress.
