Lumbar disc bulges are a common occurrence in people who do physical tasks that can potentially cause pain. Lumbar disc bulge is when the disc causes irritation of the nervous system structures around the disc joints of the lumbar spine. Physiotherapy treatment will first clear any neurological injuries to minimise any potential injury

- Range of movement exercises such as knee rocks, lumbar flexion and extension

Physiotherapy management of lumbar spondylosis
Lumbar spondylosis is a condition that encompasses degeneration of the lumbar spine that can potentially cause pain for an athlete. Degeneration is very common and is rarely the sole cause of pain. However, if pain is resulting from degenerative change to the lumbar spine a physiotherapy can help reduce pain and return the athlete back to their usual activities.
